Miami-Dade Military Museum

The Miami Military Museum develops and provides educational offerings for high schools and other educational institutions related to our military heritage and chronicles the rich history of South Florida from World War II to the present day.

Educators are offered professional development training to support their curriculum content in Social Studies and other related subject areas.  Instructors of the various JROTC programs, Civil Air Patrol and Coast Guard Auxiliary are especially welcome.

 

Programs are offered in various formats for schools and educators to include virtual field trips,  museum site field trips,  in-school visitations and other appropriate virtual presentations.

 

Educational programs also include website videos related to veterans, related holidays and remembrances, as well as interesting special topics.
